1. How bookings and payments work

Bookings with TS Boat Tourism are taken by phone. You pay by bank transfer or UPI to the account details shown at the bottom of every page of this website. This website has no online payment system. We tell you on the phone how much to pay in advance and when any balance is due, and we confirm your booking to you by phone once payment is received.

2. If you cancel

• Call us to cancel at least 36 hours before the scheduled travel time (the reporting time for your package). A request made less than 36 hours before travel, or not turning up for the trip, is treated as a no-show and not as a valid cancellation.
• Advance payments and booking deposits are not refundable.
• Any refund of other amounts you have paid is given only in exceptional cases, at the sole discretion of TS Boat Tourism. There is no fixed refund percentage.
• If a traveller cannot show valid photo ID when boarding and is not allowed to board, this is treated as a cancellation by you.

3. If we cancel

We may cancel, postpone or shorten a trip when conditions are unsafe or not permitted: bad weather, river water level limits, or restrictions ordered by the government, the police or another authority. We will tell you by phone as soon as we can.

If we cancel a trip for these reasons, we refund the full amount you paid for it, including any advance payment or deposit, less any bank or handling charge that we told you about at the time.

4. How refunds are paid

An approved refund is paid by bank transfer or UPI to the account the payment came from, within 14 working days, subject to bank processing times.

5. Changing a booking

To change the date or the number of travellers, call us. Changes depend on availability and are not guaranteed. If we cannot make the change and you cancel instead, section 2 applies.
