1. What this policy covers

This policy explains what personal information TS Boat Tourism collects when you enquire about or book a trip or stay with us, and when you visit this website. Bookings are taken by phone and paid by bank transfer or UPI. This website has no booking form, user accounts or payment system, so it does not collect your name, phone number or payment details.

2. Information we collect

When you book with us by phone or in person we collect:

• your name, phone number and, if you give one, your email address;
• the number of adults and children travelling (with the age of each child), the travel date, the package you chose and your pickup or reporting point;
• the ID proof details needed to board (the name on the photo ID and the ID type and number), for each adult traveller and, where asked, for children;
• payment records: when you pay by bank transfer or UPI we see the amount, date, transaction reference and the payer's name or account details on our bank statement.

We also note what was agreed on the phone call, such as the package, the date and any special requests. We do not receive or store your card numbers, UPI PIN or net-banking passwords.

3. Why we use it

• to confirm and run your booking: reserving boat seats, huts, vehicles and meals, and contacting you about the reporting time and place;
• to tell you if a trip is changed or cancelled because of weather, river level or government restrictions;
• to check identity at boarding, and to give passenger details to the police or other authorities where the law or a checkpoint on the route requires it;
• to keep records of payments and refunds.

We use your information only to run your booking. We do not sell it, rent it or use it for marketing, and we do not send promotional messages.

4. Who sees it

Only the people who need it to run your trip: our office, the boat, vehicle and camp staff on your trip (for example for the passenger list and pickups), and government authorities where the law requires it. Your bank and ours process any payment you make.

5. This website: Google tag, fonts and hosting

• Google tag. This website uses a Google tag (Google Ads tag ID AW-17536846446). It is loaded from Google and may set cookies and collect information about your visit, such as the pages you view, your browser and device type, and your approximate location based on your IP address. We use it to measure how our advertising performs. Google's own privacy policy explains how Google handles this data.
• Google Fonts. Pages load web fonts from Google Fonts, so your browser connects to Google's servers when a page loads.
• Cloudflare. This website is delivered through Cloudflare, which handles each request to the site. Cloudflare may log your IP address and request details to deliver and protect the site and to produce traffic statistics.
• This website does not use social media plugins, embedded videos or embedded maps, and it does not link to other websites.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The website works without them.

6. How long we keep it

We keep booking records for about one year after the trip date and then delete them. We keep a record for longer only where the law requires it, for example accounting records of payments received.

7. Security

Booking records are kept in our office and on the devices our staff use to run bookings, and are available only to people who need them for that purpose. No system is completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to prevent loss, misuse and unauthorised access.

8. Children

We record the names and ages of children only as part of a booking made by a parent or guardian.

9. Your choices: access, correction and deletion

You can ask us at any time what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Call us on 9491139573, 9491149573, 9542869573 or write to us at the office address above, and give the name and phone number used for the booking so that we can find your record. If you have a trip coming up, we can delete your information only once we no longer need it to carry out that trip.

11. Changes to this policy
